'Don't read into it' by Anita Stevens
Guildford Lane Gallery invites you to Anita Stevens Artist Talk. Her works are featured in the current ‘Fragments’ exhibition that will be running throughout May. Come and enjoy the exhibitions, a glass of wine and hear the artist talk about the inspiration behind her works.

'Fragments' Opening Night
Last Thursday the Gallery was full of artists and observers to hear select artists from the hugely popular ‘Story of a Secret State’ speak about their work. We also opened two new exhibitions from up and coming Melbourne Artists, ‘Fragments’ and ‘Children of Tanzania’

Ollie on Piano @ GLG
GLG was lucky enough to witness a spontaneous performance by Ollie McGill (The Cat Empire). The Friday night crowd were surprised and excited to hear the energetic collaboration with Ollie on Piano along with various other musicians creating fun music all night. Friday Night Jazz is on every Friday from 5PM, come and enjoy the art, the music and the wine. Emerging and established musicians are welcome to come and join in on Friday night.

An artist adds her contribution to the exhibition canvas
Thursday 29th April saw GLG full of guests for the opening of ‘Story of a Secret State,’ taking aim at the human rights violations taking place in North Korea.
The night was a great success with several pieces sold including the exhibition canvas (right) that artists contributed to on the night. We look forward to hearing from some of the artists themselves at the Artist Talks on Thursday 6th May @ 6pm.

From 27 April to 30 May
Artwork on Display from ‘The Redleg Collection’
Guildford Lane Gallery is pleased to announce the opening of the ‘The Redleg Collection.’ Our second floor is full of some of the beautiful work collected by GLG’s Owner/Director, Robert Cripps over the last 30 years.
Featuring work from Australian artists employing a variety of mediums and techniques, this is a great opportunity to view this private collection of beautiful contemporary art from the past 3 decades
Mario Xerri
4 – 16 May & 25 – 30 May
Opening Night – 6 May @ 6PM
This May, GLG will be giving viewers an insight into the children of Africa. On a recent trip to Tanzania, photographer Mario Xerri captured some beautiful moments with the locals.
This exhibition seeks to convey the happiness, joy and curiosity experienced by children regardless of the impact of wealth or poverty. Joy is in fact achieved by being who they are, sharing themselves and of living the moment. Having less is sometimes more.
