Uska Dara is a vivacious and dynamic double reed duo from Melbourne, featuring bassoonist Adam Mikulicz and oboist Jessica Foot. Since 2004, the duo has appeared on a variety of stages across Melbourne, presenting their own full-length recitals as well as appearing in various concert series, and as soloists with the ANAM Chamber Orchestra. Their repertoire comprises an unusual and varied selection of woodwind and transcribed works by composers from the baroque to the 20th century, as well as a growing number of contemporary compositions and works by Melbourne composers. “Grounded “ is a group exhibition of the works of four artists exploring concepts
related to and connected with the earth and human relationships, on a physical,
spiritual, intellectual and emotional level.
Their interpretations of “Grounded” though connected, are as diverse as the scale,
media and styles represented.

Superdry Party

December 2nd

GLG hosted a party for Superdry, a UK based urban fashion label, to celebrate their store opening in Melbourne Central Shopping Centre.

The party was a huge success with 250 people in attendance, including some celebrities! Everyone sipped on wine, beer and bubbly whilst enjoying the live jazz band. (more…)
