Every Friday night the Jazz Workshop takes place at Ruby’s Bar at The Guild (via Flanigan Lane) from 4.30-9PM. Live performances under the direction of well-established Melbourne jazz scene figure, Steve Sedergreen, provides a friendly network for performers and followers of jazz.
Steve Sedergreen is well known in the music industry through his 20 years of Jazz teaching (including mentoring members of ‘The Cat Empire’), by being the director of Dizzy’s Jazz Club (1999 -2006); and of course as a constantly in-demand musician over a wide range of performance situations (from jazz clubs to corporate events & private functions.) Steve is also a member of the teaching staff at Blackburn High School and numerous universities.
So come and meet other musicians, admire the modern art and take in the atmosphere.
Remember: Entry from 4.30pm is on Flanigan Lane, underneath the vertical garden, rear of the GLG.
